The filter (or front cover) of the grating is the passage for the infrared beam. Dust, oil stains, water mist, etc. adhering to it will weaken the transmission of the light signal, resulting in false alarms or failure to trigger. It is recommended to wipe it regularly with a soft dry cloth to avoid using corrosive solvents. 

3. Install physical protection

In harsh environments (such as welding, grinding, and casting workshops), it is recommended to install transparent protective covers on the photoelectric sensors to prevent the splashing of metal shavings, heavy objects from colliding, or dust accumulation from directly contaminating the sensor surface. The protective covers themselves also need to be cleaned regularly.

When the safety barrier malfunctions (such as frequent false alarms or inability to detect from both sides), do not attempt to disassemble the internal circuitry or adjust the optical components by yourself. Professional technicians with relevant qualifications should carry out the repair to avoid damaging the sealing structure or causing secondary faults.
