In modern industrial Settings, due to considerations of safety and the pursuit of automation and intelligence, long-distance measurement methods are becoming an indispensable key technology in production lines, logistics systems, and large-scale equipment.

The RH-TF50-TPN series of TOF laser sensors from Rihuan Sensing are not limited by the material, color or state of the workpiece. They have a measurement range of 0.05 to 50M and a repeatability accuracy of 1mm. They also feature NPN and PNP(NO+NC), empowering the upgrade of modern industrial automation with "precise perception and excellent compatibility"!

01. Unrestricted by color and material

TOF measurement algorithm

Transparent glass, reflective metal, and dark-colored objects can all be accurately identified!

Based on the principle of measuring the distance that the laser emitted by the pulse reaches and returns to the object, this measurement method is not easily affected by the surface condition of the workpiece and can achieve the purpose of stable detection. It is suitable for long-distance detection of products of different colors and materials.

Ultra-long-distance detection

With a measurement range of 0.05 to 50 meters, it can be installed at an undisturbed position, achieving "ultra-long-distance setting and detection", avoiding collisions or position overlaps, and offering more flexible application scenarios.

Repeatability accuracy: 1mm

The repeatability accuracy is only 1mm, which can significantly reduce the risks such as collisions or "misoperations" caused by mechanical hand handling.

Setting method

Fully automatic setting method

Two setting methods:

1. Setting method:

Press the NPN/PNP button briefly once when the workpiece is not present

2) Press the NPN/PNP key briefly once when the workpiece is present

3) Just briefly press the NPN/PNP key once when the workpiece is present and once when it is absent, and the set value can be established. The set value is the middle value of the target distance between the first and second presses of the NPN/PNP key

4) The sequence of Step 1) and Step 2) can be interchanged

The interval between steps 1) and 2) must not exceed 12 seconds; otherwise, reset the Settings

2 Status Indicator Light

When the setting is successful, the green light flashes rapidly three times in a row

If the setting is not successful, the orange light will flash rapidly three times in a row, returning to the state before the setting

3 Signal Indicator Light

When the NPN switch signal has an output, the orange light remains constantly on. When there is no output, the orange light is always off

When the PNP switch signal has an output, the orange light remains constantly on. When there is no output, the orange light is always off

4. Setting methods for immediate response Mode/delayed response Mode

Press and hold the NPN/PNP setting key for more than 12 seconds and then release it. The green indicator light will flash rapidly 6 times, indicating that the immediate response mode setting is successful. Press and hold the NPN/PNP setting key for more than 12 seconds and then release it. The green indicator light will flash slowly 6 times, indicating that the delayed response mode has been set successfully (default mode, this mode has signal anti-jitter function).
